In science class today, I asked my students to find, according to the text they'd just read, where most of the world's oxygen comes from.
Without looking for the answer in the text, one enthusiastic young scholar confidently yelled out:
"Allergies!"
It's Algae...
Close, kid!
But not really.

Kids are so funny!
My favorite was during our deployment time, upon asking what kinds of natural disasters the kids could think of one little guy excitedly blurts out: SALAMIS!!! Trying not to snort-laugh I say, "yes Mark, tsunamis are a natural disaster".
Salamis! That is hysterical. I want to adopt that as the tsunamis' official new name.
